Colson Kelly (aka Machine Gun Kelly), is a rap artist with a distinct style. Baker was born in Houston in Texas on 22 April in 1990 to a German and English Scottish family. His parents were missionaries, and during his initial years he traveled a lot along with them. James Colson Baker battled depression as well as joblessness. His Mother Sonia Alane dumped him at age 9. Following that Baker and his dad moved to Denver in the area where they stayed with his aunt, who was his father's.
