Maria Bartiromo - the American television journalist and broadcaster who was the first broadcaster to stream live directly from the New York Stock Exchange - is known for several popular shows that have been extremely successful. As a veteran broadcaster, who has a decade of experience in covering economics and business news, Bartiromo was instrumental in positioning CNBC among the best in the business and economic segment. Highly successful as a journalist, her professional career proves that she was always destined to be a journalist in this field. Maria was a young girl who, at the time, was unsure of her career choice. She was then tempted to become an interior decorator. The thrill of journalism was too exciting for her to leave out. Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress for film as well as on stage since the latter part of 1970. From the age 27 she has been a professionally active thespian. Her stage debut was in 1990, when she performed an Off Broadway production of The Big Funk directed by John Patrick Shanley. The Perfect Tribute. In the film The Firm however that she got the role of female lead for the very first time and that too opposite stars like Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. In the 90s, she worked with some of the biggest stars in the industry including Gwyneth Paltrow in Sliding Doors, Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews in Relative Values. In the past, she played Dr. Alex Blake in the internationally well-known crime procedural Criminal Minds.
