Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with the highest distinction) in Theater and Communication. After moving to Los Angeles, she became involved with theater arts and began acting and choreographing roles for more than twenty-one musicals and plays such as The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title performances in the prize-winning Storybook Theatre. In addition to continuing her studies in the art of improvisation with The Groundlings and becoming a company member of Theatre West Kelly also started finding roles on TV and in film. It is her voice and small stature that has allowed Kelly to take on a range of characters. Her work has included Naomi Watts in The Ring 2 as evil Samara, but she is better known as the radiant and lively receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Between 2011 and 2015, Kelly played a paralegal at-day/party night hopper as a Series Regular on the TV Land show The Exes. Additionally, she was an Regular in ABC Romantically Challenged where she was the charming sassy younger sister to Alyssa Miano. The show also featured her as the suburban mother who is anxious on CW No Tomorrow. She's lent her singing soprano to a variety of animated shows like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. In recent times, she was as the lovable, dim-witted Cloud 9 Employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. With her husband and their two children, she leads living a peaceful life.
