American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her acting career began in supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt in the third season, she played reporter Willa McPherson. She also had a supporting role on the show that ran for just a few seasons The Ex List. She was Kaylee, a young Moira in the first season of FX's American Horror Story. She was Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voiced of a variety of characters on the comedy show Family Guy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared in the role of Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge lived in Darien, Connecticut, until 10 years old when she and her mom moved to California. They went through a few different places before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. When she was 15, she relocated with her mother back to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
